Salvation Debate…..

I think the misconception between Calvinism and arminianism is whether or not man chooses God. the bible is very clear about the fact that man does not seek after the things of God and that he is far from God. The point is that without the grace of God acting in our lives, we would never seek him or have the faith to accept him and his sacrifice on the cross. Without God, by the power of the holy spirit, giving us the faith to believe when we hear the gospel, we would not be able to accept him. We cannot do it by our own choosing without God first giving us the faith to choose. God in his predestination and foreknowledge knows who and who will not choose him and his will is that all come to the knowledge of Christ and that none perish. This is why the gospel must be preached in all nations before the end, so that all have the name of Jesus preached to them. So we hear the gospel and by the power of the holy spirit conviction is made in our hearts and we are given faith to believe. Acts 2:37 says 37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The gospel is not a feel good gospel but one that cuts the heart to conviction. Hebrews 6 tells us we first have to hear the truth, the holy spirit convicts our hearts and we have the faith to believe, and we choose to accept Christ or we walk away and our hearts become hard. God in his sovereignty does in fact move on the hearts of men as he sees fit. The bible says everything he does, he does for his name sake……we are not to question his sovereignty. This is why we are not to boast in ourselves or try to work for our salvation. It is all God……..none man…….if you ever hear a gospel that adulates man, run the other way. Believe only in Jesus and him crucified and the salvation that comes by his grace as a gift and if you receive that gift,,,,praise God all your days.

Confessing Our Sins

Confessing our sin before God is required by scripture for salvation. Repentance is confessing our sin and turning from the life of sin. We are responsible for our sin and no one else. Sin has taken on a victim mentality and blames our sin on everyone else. We need to stand before God and confess our sins and repent in order to be saved and in the process of sanctification of our lives on a daily basis. Here, John MacArthur, teaches on confessing our sin.

Confessing Our Sins.

Hello Friends!

Hello everyone in the name of our Lord. I hope this message finds you well and that the Lord Jesus Christ is blessing you in all things.

Let me begin by saying what an honor it is to be able to write words of truth concerning our God and Savior. There are so many things happening in the “so called” evangelical church today that are spinning the truth of God’s Word so out of balance. Many of the celebrity leaders that gain headlines everyday are leading the church into a dangerous place of false worship and man centered gospel, and there needs to be a voice of truth that speaks out and defends the gospel message. Our Lord did not die for us to have a better life now, he does not promise us a good life on earth, or say that we can claim things in his name, etc… The gospel of Christ is about eternity and the need for repentance and forgiveness of sin. Jesus said in John 14:6, ” I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father except by me.” Ephesians 2:8-9 says “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Yet so many of our churches today would have us believe that we choose to be saved and that by saying a humble little prayer that we are all of a sudden entered in to salvation. It simply is not biblical. Gos is sovereign to save and it is he who puts faith into our hearts and enlightens our spiritual understanding to accept Christ. It is by his grace and not by man simply deciding to follow Jesus. The bible says no one seeks after the things of God Jesus said himself in John 6:44 ” No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

When we represent our Lord and Savior we need to As Paul told Timothy in 1 Timothy 6:20, ” O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:.

It is my endeavor to rightly proclaim the word of truth, as it is written and to put scripture into the context it should be. Scripture will always interpret scripture and when we take scripture out of context, we are in danger of misleading the church, which is the body of Christ and not a building or corporation.

My love and grace to you all in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
